HOW IT STARTED
A SIMPLE IDEA
Poppits founder Wayne Solan is a neat freak. While cleaning his bathroom one day he looked at a squeezed up plastic tube of toothpaste with dried up gunk around the nozzle and thought: "ew gross! There 's gotta be a cleaner way to use toothpaste. These plastic tubes can’t even be recycled. What if toothpaste came in a little bubble that you just pop in your mouth!"
That’s it!
EUREKA!
So he invented it! Moved to Japan, hired a lab team and developed his idea. Fast forward through the patents and prototypes, and Poppits was born!
Continuous Innovation
At Poppits, innovation doesn’t stop at the product – it extends to everything around it, including our packaging.
For now, our toothpaste gels are packaged in recyclable plastic. It helps keep each pop fresh, safe, and easy to use while reducing waste compared to many traditional options.
We chose this material because it’s currently the best balance of hygiene, durability, and recyclability for our product.
But we’re not
stopping there!
Our team is continuously exploring new packaging solutions in search of plastic-free materials that meet our standards for safety, quality, and sustainability.
As better options become available, our goal is to transition to non-plastic packaging in the future. We’re excited about what’s ahead, and we’re committed to improving every step of the Poppits experience
